Things have started to get a little easier in our house lately. Jett is almost 7 months and he is starting to get a little easier to care for no remember feeling this same way with Brody. months 3-7 were very challenging but then steadily improved.
Jett now has his first tooth. I noticed just the other night while he was eating his cereal. He was a champ about it too. He really didn't seam any fussier than normal. He is slowly tolerating solid foods he eats cereal 1-2 times a day. I tried giving him peaches again the other day but he since then has been pretty gassy so I guess we will hold off on that for some more time. For the most part he is sleeping from 8-6. He occasionally wakes and has gas but can usually put himself back to sleep, but sometimes he needs a little snuggle time to calm back down. He is getting up on all fours and even planking like a champ. He is so close to crawling. He gets up in his hands and knees but when he tries to move forward he just scoots backward. We keep cheering him on but I'm sure once he can crawl and get "Brody's" toys we will have some new challenges to deal with.
Brody has been going 100 miles an hour but not resting like he needs. He is super fun now and has the greatest sense of humor. He makes us laugh everyday. He also is trying our patients a bit more telling us he doesn't want to do blank, and throwing fits over anything. We sometimes find ourselves in a power struggle with him, and he will argue with us over anything. We have been tough on him lately, and sometimes I wonder if it's to tough but We really want to establish good behavior and want him to understand what is expected of him now. He loves making Jett laugh and often wants to sit next to him or hold his hand. That being said he also has been biting him for no reason. I guess that's just brotherly love. ;).
