Christmas 2017

Christmas this year was wonderful!!!! We had so much fun celebrating the season with Nana and Clark, Aaron, and Holly, and Nee Nee and Pa Paw the week prior and Peggy and the Groh's the week after.  Spreading out the Holiday made it last so much longer and helped keep the choas level to a minimum.  Brody and Jett really got into the Santa this year and it was a blast seing them so excited.  Tristan had no clue what was happening but he was a good sport being drug all over and having his "routine" interrupted.

Christmas Tree 2017

We kept with tradition this year and took the boys to Barkers Christmas Tree farm to cut down our tree for the Holidays.  This year Brody and Jett both brought their own saws and helped Daddy cut it down.  We spent the remainder of the day decorating the tree and putting up the train.

Tristan 4.5 months

Ohhh my sweet little baby.  How are you already almost 4.5 months old.  You continue to be so easy going and  rarely fuss.  Your smile is intoxicating and you flash it often.  Your brothers love you dearly and believe it or not are so gentle with you.  Brody still loves to hold you, and often really does help care for your needs.  Jett is surprisingly good at being gentle with you and loves to tell you you are, "tute (cute)" and that you are his "wittle broder."

You have rolled over from back to belly, and I can actually feel one bottom tooth already pushed through.  Your 4 month checkup left me a little concerned because you dropped off the weight curve and you have had blood in your poop so your pediatrician and I have decided that you might have a milk protein allergy so I have taken dairy out of my diet completely.  So far eating dairy free has been hard but you are worth it.  I hope in a few weeks when I retest your poop that I find no blood, and that you at least stay the same on the growth curve.  At your doctors appointment you got three vaccines and the sad thing was that Brody didn't cry when he got his but did shed a little tear when you got yours.  He yelled at me to pick you up when you were finished getting your shots and was so concerned.  He really loves you so much.
