Jett Goes To Preschool
Finally it is Jett's turn for school. He was so excited to have his own school bag, and his own classroom, and his own teacher. He waited first in line with his face pressed up against the glass on his first day and was the first to walk in and never looked back to see if Dave or Kelsie were following. We are so proud to have another confident independent child who was ready for this next step. Dream big Jett....... you might just get to be that "garbage truck" when you grow up.

Back to ER with Jett
This weekend Jett dislocated his elbow and I had to take him to the ER to have it put back in place. They had difficulty putting it back in place and it took them three attempts before they felt it was reduced. They tried to keep us until Jett moved or used his arm but they met their match with him. I finally had to tell them that he wasn't going to move his arm for anyone or anything and that they needed to just let us go. We went home and he still babied that arm and it still looked different than his other so we are following up with an orthopedic surgeon I trust.

The Boys First Dirt Bike
It took some convincing from Dave but we decided to get the boys a dirt bike to ride at the farm. Jett still remains afraid of it and will only ride with me; he says Daddy goes to fast. Brody however LOVES it and will ride for hours in the path we cut him at the farm. He isn't able to go very fast right now because he doesn't know how to shift out of first, but he is having a ball.

Brody Goes to Kindergarten
We officially have an elementary school kid in the house. Brody started Kindergarten this week at Clays Mill Elementary. He was so excited to start school and even more excited to ride the bus. He was not to happy that I insisted on driving him to school his first day, and he wasn't happy with me taking pictures of him in his classroom. We are so proud of him and how independent he is. He never seemed nervous and was so confident in himself during this new adventure.
Pool Days of 2018 Summer
The boys had a great time at the pool this year. Jett still preferred the baby pool because he could play in the water and it was warmer on his little body. Jett did however, finally go off the diving board after Dave tossed him over the edge one day. On the last pool day of the summer I let Brody swim with his shirt off and he was so happy. I think he learned his lesson though because he did get a little sun burn despite multiple sunscreen applications. I am definitly looking forward to next summer when Jett can actually swim and Tristan can wear a puddle jumper.

Annual Kings Island Trip Before School Starts
Thanks to the help of Nanna and Clark I was able to take the boys once again to Kings Island right before school starts. It might be Brody's favorite place ever. I surprised the boys by driving up to pick up Nanna and Clark and driving all the way into the parking lot before Brody realized we were actually going to Kings Island. In true Brody fashion he was excited but tried to hold it in. We definitely made the most of our day and stayed for 9 hours. The boys were exhausted when we left but we all had a blast!
