BVI Sailing Trip

Dave and I recently went on an adult only vacation that was long overdue.  We had not scheduled any major time away from the kids in a long time because we were planning on being pregnant or breastfeeding.  Oddly enough  I was still going strong breastfeeding Tristan right before this trip and had to ultimately stop due to his allergies and this trip.
Anyway, this vacation was nothing short of AMAZING and the best vacation I have ever been on.  I absolutely loved sailing and had no problem sleeping on the boat.  Each morning we would wake in what ever harbor we parked the boat at and would start on our sail to our next destination.  Sometimes we would stop along the way at some points to snorkel, hike through caves, etc.  We drank all day and hooked up to a mooring ball at night and went in to whatever island each night for dinner and a party.  Each night was drastically different from the next.  Sometimes dinner and drinks, other nights limbo and lobster picking, others dancing.  It was so AMAZING and made me wish we had all the money in the world to bring the boys aboard, pay for a personal teacher and sail the world.

Monster Jam

Instead of a big birthday party for Jett we decided to take the boys to Monster Jam.  Lucky for us the Mclowskeys and Brett brought all the kids with them and we all got to sit together.  The show honestly was pretty lame but the boys had fun draining Dave and my wallets with cotton candy, etc.

Easter 2018

The Easter Holiday started out by Kelsie surprising me and taking the boys to have their picture with the Easter Bunny and a real buddy at Joseph Beth's.  Her surprise was so sweet and we are so thankful to have her in our life.  The boys woke up to a traditional egg hunt which was fun to watch this year, and Tristan loved his first Easter basket.  We spent Easter at Mimi's this year and had the most amazing brunch.

Farm Life

We continue to work on the farm and are so looking forward to starting the build of our house.  Until then we are continuing to save our pennies and have Dave and Peggy as well as my parents have worked very hard to clear the wall and other property borders.  Dave has worked hard to put in an entrance and the boys and I have helped when we can.
