November Week Off

I just recently got to take a week off of work.  I got to do some things with the boys that I have been wanting to do for awhile.  We spent one day at Malibu Jacks having fun, Jett, Tristan and I got to go eat lunch with Brody at school and we went on a 2.8 mile hike at Raven Run.

Fall Farm Life

Farm life has been good lately.  We continue to make progress on cleaning the place up.  We are currently getting quotes from builders on building the house we designed, but are getting some mixed messages on if our design is outside of our budget or not.  We are crossing our fingers that the next few quotes are within a range we can work with.

Halloween

This was a first for me this Halloween.  It was my first time making a costume.  Considering I ordered the printout from etsy had kinkos print it things were not to difficult, but it was more challenging than hitting buy now on Amazon.  Brody wanted to be a vampire bat and Jett wanted to be a "garbage truck, not the man."  Tristan was an owl since we had that costume from when Brody was a baby.  We had a decent size group to run the neighborhood this year, and Nana was able to come down to enjoy the evening.

Brody learns to Pump!

Brody finally figured out the rhythem of the swings and is pumping all on his own.

Brody and Jett Play Soccer

This year both Brody and Jett got to play soccer.  Jett was super excited to have his own team.  We are now entering the world of two kids in sports and so far it hasn't been to bad but it definitely takes some juggling.

Our Butterfly Project

The boys all helped and we raised monarch butterflies from caterpillars.  We had so much fun hunting for milk weed for their food and watching them spin their cocoons and turn into beautiful butterflies.
