Fort Boonsboro
We are enjoying learning about Winchester and all the new things this small town has to offer. This weekend Dave, Peggy and I took the boys to Fort Boonsboro to see a battle enactment and to experience what it was like living back in those times.

Fall Soccer
Brody and Jett both returned to the same teams for fall soccer. Jett's team is still having a blast but this season Brod's team really got into the game. It has been a warm fall so we are really enjoying this season.

Jett's 1st Day of 4 Year Old Preschool
Jett was super excited for his turn to go back to school. This year he has Mrs. Mary and she seems fabulous. In true Jett fashion he was a goofball and decided he would like to be a carrot or a person when he grows up.

WE HAVE BROKE GROUND!!!
Finally our dream of building our forever home on our land has begun. We are so excited and seeing them dig makes all of it feel very real. The boys are all in little boy heaven watching the construction equipment work, and they are loving playing in all the dirt.

First Day of 1st Grade
Brody started back to school this week and he was super excited. When I asked him what he was most excited about he said it was seeing Sam on the bus. This year he has Mrs. Connolley as his teacher. When I originally asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up he simply said he hadn't decided yet but later settled on a policeman.

Florida Vacation With The Big Boys
Dave had the opportunity to go to St. Petes Beach Fl for a work function, so the older boys and I decided to go with him. Thankfully Grandma, Nana and Clark kept Tristan so we could do big kid things with Brody and Jett. It was great to see Brody and Jett bond and it was great for Dave and I both to get to do things together with them instead of one of us having to hang back with Tristan while he did little kid things or napped.

Jett's Facial TIC
Jett randomly developed a facial TIC that worried me and drove me crazy. Peggy showed videos of him doing his TIC to a neurologist and he said it was common and to ignore it and it should go away in 6 months to a year. Looking back Jett used to have an eye blinking tic that we thought might be dry eyes or screen fatigue. As the weeks have gone on after this new tic developed I have seen it change forms. He now holds his breath and breathes funny, and before that he started puffing air in his cheeks instead of contracting his neck like he was doing a few weeks ago. We hope that these tics slowly go away and that they never morph into something super noticeable to others.
