Vacation number...... sheesh I have lost count. We have definitely made the most of my time off this year. Its just much more fun and easier to go do things with Brody than to sit around at the house.
We spent the first part of August at the Cumberland Falls with Grandma, and the Groh family. Brody had so so so so much fun with all his older cousins. He loves to try and be just like them and I really think he thinks he is. We hiked, kayaked, ate great food each day at our cabin, and just had fun hanging out as a family. Brody enjoyed the hiking but was not happy about ridding in the backpack carrier, he once again wanted to be like the older kids and walk by himself. Kayaking was a blast! Our tandem kayak held Hayden, Brody and I. We stopped and played in the water, almost lost ziggy as he tried to swim after the other boats, and played in the mud. Hayden brought us home paddling all by himself for awhile, while I tried to wrestle Brody from getting out of the boat.
Most of us stayed in a ranch style cabin that was AWESOME. We had our own fully equipped kitchen and thanks to Grandma's amazing planning we had great meals and snacks everyday. It was a wonderful trip!!
