Time Flies When Your Growing Up

I can't believe it's been a month since I posted anything. We have just even so busy with fall activities that each day seams to slip away faster and faster. Let's see if I can catch us up.

A few weeks ago we visited Evans Orchard with Andrea, Brett, Cole, Graham, and Nana and Clark. The boys had so much fun. Brody loved the slide and probably went down it 50 times.

Grandma also came down one day and we took Brody to Boyd's Orchard. He was kinda in a rotten mood but we he still had a good time playing in the water at the mining station.

Two weekends ago our friends, Brett, Monkey, Harvey, and Chris spent Friday and Saturday putting in post for our new backyard fence. We unfortunately had to put up a fence to keep the neighbors mean dog away from us and especially Brody. The boys worked so hard on this fence, while Andrea, Shannon and I played with the boys. We even had time to paint some pumpkins, and visit the park while the boys worked.

Brody has been super fun and super clingy at times lately. Some days he wants me to hold him non stop and snuggle him all day. If you even think about taking him away from me even for something fun he cries and cries. He acts all excited when Dave comes home from work but then runs to me crying and won't play with him. I love his extra snuggles but sometimes it's just not very convenient.

He is talking so much more and I love hearing what new phrases or words he picks up. I'll include a video of his paper boy route. I love this video because he really started delivering the neighbors papers all on his own and I love how he tells me, "be right back."  He sometimes gets things a bit wrong but it makes it even cuter. For instance when he sneezes he says, "bless you" or when he bonks his head he says "sorry."  When you ask him what a piggy says he says, "ink, ink."

Brody is just growing and maturing so fast. I can't believe we soon will have a two year old and are in the process of setting up his big boy room.
