Jett's 1st Birthday Party this year was postponed 3 weeks in hopes of better weather and that we could host everyone outside at Shilito Park. Unfortunately the day of his party April 9th, had predications of snow and ice with temps in the 20's. Plan B had us scrambling to find a inexpensive place to host his party indoors since our house is just not set up for entertaining large groups indoors. Grandma luckily was able to rent out the Fort Wright Civic Center on Sunday the 10th. Unfortunately with the last minute date and location change many people were unable to come. However, because of the last minute changes Nana was able to make it right after her flight back from Florida. I believe everyone, especially Jett had a great time. We had pizza, played with bubbles, the kids ran in the fields and Jett got some really great gifts that his big brother Brody helped open. Despite all the hiccups the party turned out to be great and we all had a wonderful time celebrating our opinionated little one year old!
