Tristan's First Few Weeks

Our little guy is doing so well.  He sleeps pretty good at night, is nursing well and has gotten back up to birth weight.  He is super furry still and I just love his peach fuzz.  He doesn't really cry much but is super gassy and grunts a lot.  Brody is enamored with him and asks to hold him all the time.  Most mornings we all come downstairs, Brody eats his breakfast and then holds Tristan for an hour while they watch cartoons.  It is super sweet!  Jett likes to point out all his parts while poking them, and definitely likes to take his turn holding him just not for as long.  We lost our nanny Sara which I will write about later so we have luckily have had lots of help from Nanna.  We have gone to the Orchard, the Children's Garden, and played at home with Nanna's help.  On the days Nanna has had to work we have gone to the pool and hiking just the four of us.  It wasn't always easy and I was definitely nervous about having them out all by myself but it surprisingly went well and we had fun. We all seem to be settling right in to life with there kids and are excited for our many adventures in the future as a family of 5.
