I must admit it is February and I am just now sitting down to write about Christmas. Life has been just that busy.
Brody loved Christmas this year!!! He loved the Christmas lights, he loved singing Christmas carols, he loved all the Christmas movies (especially Christmas Mickey), and loved all the family time and of course the presents. We continued the tradition of spending the weekend before Christmas at both my parents and at Peggy's house. We all had such a great time both places. My two favorite things about this Christmas at my parents was that we all got to spend time with Holly, and our annual viewing of Christmas Vacation. Holly seams so perfect for my brother and seams to make him very happy. She also fits seamlessly into the family. I'm really hoping Holly will be around for every Christmas from here on out. Watching Christmas Vacation this year was extra special because Brody got to stay up and watch it with us. I'm certain he understood little of the humor in that movie bur every time my Dad and Dave let out their loud belly laugh, Brody just faked laughed right along with them. It really was cute!
Christmas with the Groh's was crazy as always! We all enjoyed a great breakfast followed by opening presents. I think all the kids were overjoyed with their presents this year. Dave had trouble with all the noise and chaos but this is the only time of year that all the pandemonium is music to my ears. Sure it gets a little tense at times but I love watching all the Groh kids playing with Brody and Jett.
