This weekend Brody spent the weekend with Nana and Clark. They had a big Christmas weekend planned for him. On Saturday they had a big morning complete with Breakfast with Santa at the country club. The club had a big buffet breakfast and time to mingle with Santa. Santa apparently was of interest to Brody but he did not want to sit on his lap or get to close. He didn't mind talking to Santa of having his picture taken standing next to him as long as Nana or Clark were holding him tight. Later that day they visited the Berringer Crawford Museum where they had a large model train exhibit. Brody has definitely taken a liking to anything that has to do with trains lately. I guess it is a boy thing because Clark, and Dave love playing trains with him too.
Sunday morning Brody got up from bed yelling "Nana, Clark" and they all made Christmas cookies before they had to meet back up with us. Overall he seamed to have a great weekend away and I think Nana and Clark enjoyed having him as well.
As for Dave and I.... well Dave had to work during the day Saturday but I spent the day just relaxing. There was so much that I could have or needed to do but I took the day to just veg and do nothing. I ran one errand but spent most of the day napping or watching movies. That night we met up with Kidwell and Emily who were in from Baltimore. We went to a restaurant we had been wanting to try and took them to a local brewery.
Overall the weekend was great for everyone. I was just has behind on my to do list but felt recharged. Brody had a great time making memories with Nana and Clark and Dave got some much needed extra hours in at the office.
