Christmas (Conway)

This year Dave and I decided we would spend all of Christmas Day at our own house. This meant we had to convince everyone in the family to move our original traditional family Christmas to the weekend before. It wasn't an easy transition for anyone but I think it went great.

So Saturday morning we headed up to my parents house for a full day with Nana, Clark, Nee Nee, Pa Paw, and Aaron. It was so nice knowing we had all day to spend with everyone and had no where else to be till the next day. We ate a light lunch, opened gifts, had an amazing dinner, and had our traditional family viewing of Griswold Christmas Vacation. My mom also made a bunch of candy and cookies ("stickers" in Brody language) that we munched on all day.

The whole day was relaxed, memorable and fun. Brody had a great time eating sweets, playing with all his toys and multiple times put on quite the temper tantrum display but I guess that's just a two year old for you. My only regret is that I didn't take more pictures. However, it was nice to just be in the moment and enjoy each others company.
