Christmas

When we woke Christmas morning we were so thrilled to have the whole day to spend at our home. Brody came downstairs and ran straight to his tool bench that Santa had brought. Santa was certain he would love the tool bench because Cole had what we thought was the same one. What we quickly learned was this was the discount model and it didn't have all the bells and whistles. Brody still liked it but quickly told us it was broke. Way to go Santa!!!! 😉

We spent the rest of the morning eating a large yummy breakfast prepared by Daddy, opening presents, and watching Frosty what seamed to be 300 times. I'll have to say that I am fairly certain Brody's favorite gift this year was his bike he received from Sara. Later Grandma came down to hang out. We played outside, went in a bike ride, enjoyed homemade crockpot hot chocolate and had a delicious steak dinner with Mac n cheese.

While we missed our extended family a great deal it was a very fun relaxing day. We look forward to the years ahead of spending Christmas at home making memories as our family grows.
